About the Journal
The Journal accepts articles on research related to the Predynastic to Graeco-Roman Periods and covers ancient Egyptian culture, history, and archaeology.
The Journal launched on 14 March 2013.
For each calendar year, the total number of submissions accepted will comprise a single journal issue.
Submitting a journal article
Our call for papers is currently open for Birmingham Egyptology Journal Issue 11. This call closes on Wednesday 7 January 2026.
